中国驻外使馆认证

如在外旅居、留学、工作的华人或外籍人士需在国内办事，政府部门可能会需要其提供国外的无犯罪记录证明、学历学位证明、结婚证、出生证、委托书等文件。这些文件只有在办经过中国驻文件出具国领事认证后，国内政府机构才会认可。

办理中国驻外领事认证，首先需在当地国公证机构办理公证后，再拿到当地国外交部或其他有权机构及中国驻该国使领馆办理领事认证。领事认证的目的是使一国出具的文书能在其他国家境内得以承认，不会因怀疑文书上的印鉴、签名的真实性而影响其域外法律效力。

若文件发出地及使用地均承认海牙公约，则可以使用更为简便的海牙认证替代领事认证。

中国内地目前尚未加入，但香港、澳门特别行政区均承认该公约，因此外国文书在中国内地使用时需经过领事认证，而在香港、澳门使用时则仅需办理海牙认证。
